Next Call Of Duty Could Include Remastered Copy Of Modern Warfare

According to the latest leaks, the next Call of Duty title is said to be called Infinite Warfare and that we might be looking at a May 3rd announcement. Now thanks to an image posted on Reddit, it allegedly shows off a leaked cover image for the upcoming game which has revealed some rather interesting information.

As you can see in the image to the right, it shows the alleged cover of Infinite Warfare. One interesting thing to note is that on the cover, it shows the date that the game will supposedly be released which is set for the 4th of November, 2016. We have no way of knowing if that date is real, but based on Activision’s annual releases of the game, we guess it wouldn’t be a stretch.

In addition, the image also seems to hint that along with the copy of Infinite Warfare, gamers could also be getting a remastered copy of Modern Warfare. Considering that Infinity Ward (who is said to be leading development on this year’s Call of Duty) developed Modern Warfare, we guess it makes sense.

We can’t be sure if both titles are linked especially when you look at their names and realize how similar they are, but if they are then bundling the older Call of Duty title makes sense. It could also be some kind of bundle where you get older titles for the price of one (the image says “Legacy Edition”), but either way we guess we’ll have to wait until next week to find out more.
