Ubisoft today released a new The Division trailer which details the Incursions update that’s going to be released tomorrow. This is the first raid-like update for this game and is certainly the first of many. The first Incursion for this title is called Falcon Lost and it happens to be a free update which means that it will be available to all players on all platforms.
Tomorrow’s update also brings a new player-reporting feature for PC. Ubisoft has already said that it’s going to permanently ban players who cheat in The Division. This system will enable players to notify Ubisoft of cheaters, it will then investigate and those found cheating will be handed down strict punishments.
Cheaters will be given a three-day suspension for their first offense and they can be permanently banned if they don’t learn their lesson and are caught cheating for the second time. Also included in tomorrow’s update is more gear, a loot-trading system, and various other improvements.
The company also released an infographic today which shows that most players spend the majority of the time playing solo and that the most popular primary weapon among gamers is the AK-47. Players have helped a total of 250 million civilians in the game and have done 150 million jumping jacks.
Ubisoft’s next free update for The Division is called Conflict, it arrives next month. It will bring a new Incursion among other things. Later this year it will also release paid expansions for The Division.
