If you’ve been waiting for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst you’re not going to like this at all. EA has just confirmed that the Mirror’s Edge Catalyst release has been delayed. It was originally supposed to be out in February 2016 but was delayed to May 24th, so you get the part about not liking this news because it has now been delayed to June. Delays are never welcome but they’re becoming so common now with game releases that we hardly get surprised when they’re announced.
Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will be released on consoles as well as on PC. The official PC system requirements for this game were confirmed just last week.
So you might be wondering why Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is being delayed for the second time. Erik Odeldahl, the design director at developer DIC, does have an explanation.
He says that the decision to delay this game for the second time was made to ensure that all of the social features of this game are working as they should be. “We’re confident that these extra two weeks will make sure the game is as amazing as possible for you the players,” he adds.
Provided that there aren’t any more delays, expect to get your hands on Mirror’s Edge Catalyst come June 7th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
