While Mirror’s Edge Catalyst has been delayed from its original release in February 2016 to the 24th of May, we’re sure there are still many gamers out there who are eager to get their hands on the game. Now the game will be playable on consoles but if you are considering getting the PC version, the developers have since published the PC system requirements for the game.
Starting with the minimum requirements, this appears to be relatively straightforward and we’re sure that many gamers should have no trouble hitting these specs. For starters the game will only be playable on Windows 7 64-bit or higher, and in the CPU department, we are looking at an Intel i3-3250 or an AMD FX-6350.
It will also require 6GB of RAM, 25GB of hard drive space, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB or an AMD Radeon R9 270x. As for the recommended PC system requirements, here’s where it gets a little heavy. The CPU department will need an Intel Core i7-3770 clocked at 3.4GHz or an AMD FX-8350 clocked at 4.0GHz.
Gamers are also recommended to have at least 16GB of RAM along with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 with 4GB of VRAM or better, or an AMD Radeon R9 280x with 3GB of VRAM or better. In the meantime the game’s closed beta will be kicking off on the 22nd of April, so if you have been accepted to the closed beta, maybe that will be a good time to test how well your PC can handle the game and if an upgrade might be in order.
