Now we’re not sure how big of a hit the original LG Rolly was, but apparently LG has deemed that it was good enough to spawn a successor in the form of the LG Rolly Keyboard 2. Unlike last year’s model which featured four rows of keys, this year’s model actually comes with five rows, with the fifth row basically being a row of numbers like you would expect from a regular keyboard.
It is still a roll-up keyboard but instead of rolling up into a rectangular cube, it now rolls up into a pentagon, but other than that it is essentially the same thing. It is powered by a single AAA battery meaning that you can just pop in a new one when it dies. It is Bluetooth-powered so it will play nicely with Android, iOS, Windows, and Mac devices.
Unfortunately at the moment the Rolly Keyboard 2 has only been launched in South Korea. There’s no word on whether LG has plans to roll it out (see what we did there) to other parts of the world, but we’ll keep an eye out for it all the same.
