As you can see in the photo above, this specially designed iPad Pro is more about giving it a new paint job. The back of the iPad has been given a yellow coating, while its accessories like its Smart Cover has been given a cobalt blue leather look, and the Apple Pencil has also gotten a fiery orange leather case.
This specially designed iPad Pro will be available via auction come 28th of April. According to the auctioneers, it is expected to fetch as low as $15,000 or up to $20,000, but as we have seen in the past, sometimes these things will go way, way over what has been previously estimated. For example the Product RED Mac Pro from 2013 was expected to fetch $40,000-$60,000.
However subsequent reports revealed that it ended up fetching close to $1 million. This isn’t the first time Ive has designed for charity. Previously he had also designed solid gold EarPods that were auctioned off, and in 2012 he even had a hand in designing a Leica M camera which was also for charity.
