So far for the past 2 years, Apple’s flagship has taken on two size options, the iPhone 6/6s with a 4.7-inch display, and the iPhone 6/6s Plus with a 5.5-inch display. However this year might be different as we could be treated to a third variant called the iPhone 7 Pro which allegedly will come with a dual camera setup.
Rumors of a dual camera iPhone have been floating about for a while and if the rumors are to be believed, the dual camera iPhone is said to be a separate version of the handset aimed more at enthusiasts rather than regular customers, and now thanks to a leak posted by Mac Fan (via Pocket-lint), schematics of the device have been revealed.
As you can see from the schematics, for the most part it look like the iPhone 7’s design won’t be too different from its predecessor, which is a bit odd given that Apple tends to refresh their designs every couple of years. However the schematics also talks about an iPhone Pro with a cutout on its back that hints at a dual camera setup.
Interestingly enough the schematic for that design is similar to one we’ve seen before, although supposedly that leak in question was a fake. In any case schematics can be easily faked by anyone with a bit of knowledge, so take it with a grain of salt for now, but hopefully we’ll get more details soon.
