HTC 10 Leaked Yet Again

The HTC 10 is the Taiwan-based company’s worst kept secret right now. For the past few weeks, this handset has been leaked multiple times and merely a day before it’s official announcement, the HTC 10 has leaked yet again. We get to see the alleged device in all its glory, we’ve seen press renders of it previously, as well as purported live images. There hasn’t been a contradictory report yet on the name of this smartphone, it’s still believed that the company will call this the HTC 10.

It will be called the HTC 10 even though it’s replacing last year’s HTC One M9, the company appears to be going for a rebranding of sorts as it looks to improve its fortunes in the global mobile market. It’s going to need a real winner on its hands if it wants to regain lost market share, particularly in the high-end segment.

The design of this handset appears to draw inspiration from last year’s flagship and the HTC One A9 which also came out last year. It doesn’t seem to be a major leap forward in terms of design for the company.

The accompanying report suggests that stereo Boomsound speakers are onboard the new flagship and that there’s a conventional home button that’s touting a fingerprint sensor underneath.

Rumored specifications of this handset include a 5.2 inch QHD Display, Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB RAM, 12 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front camera, USB-C Port, 3,000mAh battery and Android 6.0 Lollipop.

HTC is going to officially unveil its new flagship smartphone on April 12th.
