Hover has a 13 megapixel camera that’s capable of recording video in 4K and even though it doesn’t have a mechanical gimbal, the company says that it features custom electronic image stabilization which should correct shaky footage.

The self-flying drone also comes with preprogrammed features that make it very easy to fly even if the user doesn’t have a lot of experience flying quadcopters. These features include body and face recognition, hover in place, following the user and 360 panoramic recording.

Hover isn’t meant to replace your DJI, it has been built to serve an entirely different purpose, which is to capture video of the user with minimal interaction from them. This product will appeal to those who are into extreme sports or those who just want to capture all of the fun stuff they do without having to worry about piloting a drone.
