When Fallout 4 first launched, Bethesda did not ship the modding tools with the game and promised that it would come later. Bethesda is working on the tools which at the moment is still in closed beta, but the good news is that if you’re interested in participating in the closed beta, Bethesda has decided to open its doors to more participants.
According to a recent post in the Fallout 4 forums, it seems that Bethesda is expanding the Creation Kit’s closed beta. Taking part in it, or at least signing up for it, is simple. Just head on over to the forums, sign up for Bethesda’s DLC beta, and post a reply in the forums with a simple “YES” (nothing more).
However note that this is not a guarantee that you will be picked to take part in the beta, but at least you now have the option of being part of it. There is still no specific date on when the Creation Kit will be released to gamers, but last we heard in February, Bethesda had estimated that it will be released in April.
However given that we are already in April and the Creation Kit is still in beta, it doesn’t seem like an April release is possible but we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed all the same.
