Back in the day, FPS-based video games were pretty straightforward, but as time passed, developers started introducing different models and customization options, but those options are a drop in the ocean especially compared to what games are offering today. In fact a recently released DOOM trailer shows off just how many customization options gamers can tinker around with.
According to the video’s description, “DOOM features an in-depth player customization system that will let you express yourself when you step into the multiplayer arena on May 13. As you level up through the ranks, you’ll unlock tons of gear, paint colors for your armor and weapons, and much more. The more you play, the more armor, weapons, equipment and hack modules you’ll unlock. You’ll also receive epic customization options for all your gear, so you can look cool while you obliterate your opponents.”
Gamers who are interested in checking out the game will be able to do some come 15th of April, which is when the game’s open beta will begin. Gamers can already begin preloading the game, so if you’d rather not waste time downloading and installing the game on launch day, now would be a good time to start preloading it.
The open beta will only last until the 17th of April, so you’ll want to move fast. The full game itself will be released on the 13th of May and will be available on the Sony PlayStation 4, Microsoft Xbox One, and the PC.
