Not too long ago Amazon announced a new $50 Kindle tablet aimed at customers who are in the market for a very affordable tablet. At $50 it’s a pretty good deal, you can even buy a six-pack of these tablets for an even better deal. Today it has updated the affordable tablet lineup with new colors and more memory.
Everything else remains the same, you get the same features and specifications for the very same price, there are now just new color options to choose from and if you’re willing to spend a bit more, you can also get more onboard storage.
The $50 7 inch Kindle Fire tablet is now available in magenta, blue and tangerine colors aside from the original black color. Under the hood, it still has the very same 1.3GHz quadcore processor, 8GB onboard storage, microSD card support as well as front and rear cameras.
Amazon is also offering more internal storage for an extra charge. You can spend $69.99 to get the same tablet with 16GB onboard storage. Everything else remains the same, the extra $20 is just for doubling the onboard storage.
The company has also added a green kid-proof case for the Fire Kids Edition that features 16GB of storage and is priced at $119.99. The 8GB model is available for $99.99 while the children’s models are available in pink and blue cases with 16GB storage for $119.99.
