Now we should point out that we have no way of knowing for sure that the photos of the camera are the real deal since they aren’t exactly very clear, so for someone to fake them wouldn’t be out of the question. However Fuji Rumors has been known to be pretty spot on with their leaks and rumors, so maybe it could be true.
That being said, for the most part it appears that the design of the X-T2 remains the same as its predecessor. However there are some changes, such as the articulating display as you can see in the photo above. Previously the display could only tilt up or down, but this photo shows that the display can now be tilted to the side. Still no word on whether it can be tilted upwards 180-degrees which might be useful for selfies, but we reckon it’s not really a deal-breaker if it doesn’t.
Fujifilm also appears to have removed/move the Focus Assist button (which zooms in to your focus point when pressed). Instead the Focus Assist button has been replaced by the “Q” function button, and below it there appears to be some kind of joystick control. Like we said, the photos aren’t particularly clear so it is a bit hard to tell, but hopefully we can expect more leaks leading up to its announcement. Until then take it with a grain of salt.
