If you are looking forward to XCOM 2’s upcoming DLC pack, then you would not have much longer to twiddle your thumbs and fingers. After all, the game itself has received quite a rapturous reception, with all of the tension built up since last year, and remember how folks were wondering whether their machines were up to the task as the system requirements were revealed? Well, the upcoming DLC pack for XCOM 2 will be known as ‘Anarchy’s Children’.
The folks over at 2K have also shown off the launch date for the first XCOM 2 DLC, where it will happen this 17th of March. The Anarchy’s Children add-on pack will arrive with over a century of “exotic” goodies – which will definitely find plenty of good use in the hands of your soldiers. We are talking about better offensive and defensive options in the form of new armor, helmets and masks, not to mention being able to have a whole new look with fresh hairstyles, face paintings and decals.
Apart from that, 2K will be working on a patch that will deliver performance enhancements and gameplay bug fixes to XCOM 2, although no concrete release date for that has been decided upon just yet. Prepare $5 if you would like to pick up the Anarchy’s Children DLC when it arrives over Steam next week, but if you did buy the $20 Reinforcement Pack already, then it would be free. [Press Release]
