As it stands, Tekken 7 is only available in the arcade. However last year, Bandai-Namco did promise that a PlayStation 4 release was in the works, but to date we still have not heard or seen anything. Just last month, Bandai-Namco also announced Tekken 7: Fated Retribution, but given that we’ve yet to see a console release, all of this is pretty much a tease.
However could it be possible that Bandai-Namco could be considering a PC release? Turns out that the company might be entertaining the idea. According to a recently released survey, the company has asked users if they were interested in seeing titles like Tekken 7: Fated Retribution out on the PC.
This is by no means a guarantee that there will be a PC release, but like we said, the company must be entertaining the idea if they’re looking to explore the possibility with its gamers. Of course this will also be subject to how users respond. If no one or very few people want a PC release, obviously a PC release will not be happening.
To date there has yet to be a Tekken game released on the PC. As pointed out by Attack of the Fanboy, the closest thing we’ve gotten is probably Street Fighter X Tekken, even though technically that was more of a Capcom title. In any case we’ll be keeping an eye out for its PS4 and PC release, so check back with us later for the details.
