Ever wondered how a game of Super Mario Brothers might play in real life? Where people would have to jump to collect coins, jump/step on mushrooms, bust up bricks, and whatnot? Turns out we don’t have to imagine it because the folks at Dark Pixel have recently released a new video in which we get to see Super Mario Brothers enacted in real life thanks to the use of parkour.
Actually this isn’t the first time Dark Pixel has released such a video. Several years ago, they released a similar video, so in reality this release is a follow-up. However it will introduce a new stuntman in the form of Calen Chan who will be playing the role of Mario, and it will also see the return of Ronnie Shalvis who takes on the role of Luigi.
Now if you’re wondering why Shalvis’ name sounds so familiar, it is because his work is pretty well-known in the parkour community, not to mention he has previously starred in other video game parkour-related videos, with the more recent one being Assassin’s Creed Unity. In any case it is a pretty entertaining video, what with the sound and graphical effects that have been inserted into the video. If you have several minutes to spare, then we reckon that the video above should be worth checking out.
