Samsung SM-T585 Spotted In Benchmark

To see Samsung devices appear in benchmark tests is nothing new, in fact, it is more or less one of the ways where we snoop around to gather information on upcoming devices. Well, it seems that there is a new tablet that is set to be revealed by the South Korean conglomerate, with the Samsung SM-T585 being spotted over in a benchmark from GFXBench, and chances are it is the prototype that was put through the paces.

While some benchmark results do not reveal too much about a particular device, this one does share a fair bit of what one can expect from the Samsung SM-T585. In fact, some of the crucial information has been gathered, including the fact that the Samsung SM-T585 will feature a 10” 1,920×1,200 touchscreen, Samsung’s very own Exynos 7870 chipset that sports a 1.7GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-T830 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, an 8MP shooter at the back with LED flash, a 2MP front-facing camera, and the standard connectivity options.

It does not seem to be a high end tablet, since it misses out on NFC support, and 16GB of internal memory does not do it justice, considering how we should be expecting maybe only 8GB of usable memory by users right out of the box, if the Galaxy S7 sets a precedent concerning memory use.
