Russia’s federal law of December 30, 2015 that mentioned, “On introducing amendments to the Air Code of the Russian Federation regarding the use of unmanned aerial vehicles”, is all set to come into force this coming March 30 – which is tomorrow.
The document will regulate the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), or drones, and it is also seen to be part of an effort to establish a government UAV/drone database. Hmm, does this mean that this drone tank (granted, it does not fly but rather, would ram through some burning twigs in an action scene) needs to be registered as well over in Russia? Not all drones need to be registered – only those with a maximum takeoff mass that is equal to or exceeds 250 grams will be subject to registration.
