The Ghostbusters franchise has its very own special place in pop culture and nothing can really take its place, however, there has been something in the works since last year that fans have been very interested about. An all-female version of Ghostbusters is coming out soon and after releasing a couple of teasers about the movie, the official new Ghostbusters movie trailer has finally been released today.
The new Ghostbusters movie stars Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon are playing the lead roles in this film which looks very promising if the trailer is anything to go by.
Fans will be treated to a lot of nostalgia in this trailer. It starts off with the original Ghostbusters theme song being played on the piano as a card comes up to acknowledge the original movie.
It’s after that we get to see the new cast trying to confront a ghost and things get hilarious. There’s plenty of laughs and scares peppered throughout the trailer and it’s certainly not going to make the wait any easier for fans who just want to go and watch this movie.
The new Ghostbusters, directed by Paul Feig, is going to hit the big screen on July 15th, 2016.
