Fans of one of the most popular shows on TV will certainly be counting down the days until the new season airs. HBO’s Game of Thrones season 6 is due to air starting next month and the cable giant has already released a couple of teasers and trailers to give us a glimpse of what’s to come. It has now posted a new promo for Game of Thrones season six which brings footage not seen in previous trailers.
“Are you afraid? You should be. You’re in the great game now. And the great game is terrifying,” says Tyrion Lannister, as the 30-second promo quickly shows us some of the most beloved characters in the series and leaves us wondering what will happen to them as the new season progresses. After all, our favorite characters have a habit of dying in Game of Thrones.
This latest “March Madness” promo for season 6 debuted this weekend as a part of the NCAA college basketball tournament which takes place every year. It may only be 30-seconds long but it certainly leaves us wishing for more and making us much more impatient for the new season.
The first episode of Game of Thrones season 6 will premiere on HBO come April 24th. No, the new promo doesn’t put an end to our most burning question about the fate of Jon Snow.
