There’s good news today for fans of the Forza racing franchise. It has been confirmed that a new Forza game is in development and that it’s going to be unveiled later this year at the E3 gaming convention. Xbox and Forza developer Turn 10 Studios are teaming up with Lamborghini to feature its latest ultra limited edition hypercar as the cover vehicle of the new Forza game.
Turn 10 Studios isn’t quite ready as yet to reveal the title or any big details about the new Forza game, it says that fans will have to wait until the E6 2016 briefing in June to get more information about the game.
The only thing it has revealed today is that the Lamborghini Centenario is going to be available “First in Forza,” this means that Xbox One owners will get to experience the virtual version of this hypercar before it comes out in the real world.
“We’re excited to continue our long history of working with Lamborghini and to be part of their 100-year anniversary by celebrating the Centenario as the featured cover car of the next Forza game,” said Phil Spencer, head of Xbox at Microsoft.
The Centenario is a new ultra limited edition hypercar from Lamborghini that the company has created to commemorate the 100th anniversary of its founder. With its 770 horsepower naturally aspirated engine the car is able to achieve 0-100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds.
