Well, well, what do we have here? The Cortana Intelligence Suite might sound vaguely familiar, but that is simply because it happens to be known as the Cortana Analytics Suite in a former life. The Cortana Intelligence Suite happens to be powered by cutting-edge research into big data, machine learning, perception, analytics and intelligent bots, where it has its foundation based on Microsoft Azure.
Such capabilities will be able to be leveraged by the likes of developers and businesses so that they can end up with intelligent end-to-end solutions, where among them include new apps which are more than capable of picking up things in our world, as well as bots and agents which will interact with people in personalized, intelligent ways.
New additions to the Cortana Intelligence Suite have been announced, with the first being Microsoft Cognitive Services as a collection of intelligence APIs that allows systems to see, hear, speak, understand and interpret our needs using natural methods of communication. As for the other, it would be the Microsoft Bot Framework which will only be used by developers, allowing programming in any language so that one can come up with intelligent bots which customers can chat to using natural language, be it on popular platforms such as text/SMS, Office 365, Skype, Slack, and the Web, among others.
