3D Touch (or 3D Force touch, or whatever monikers that are attached to the same idea) happens to be a feature that is limited to a handful of devices, and most of these devices happen to be flagship models to boot (for obvious reasons), which means the likes of the alleged 4” iPhone 5se would miss out on it. Having said that, Meizu’s upcoming flagship device, the Meizu Pro 6, looks set to implement a version of 3D Touch.
Meizu’s VP and Flyme chief architect Yang Yan has put up a screenshot on Weibo that reveals to the rest of the world just how implementing 3D Touch is going to be like on the upcoming Meizu Pro 6. For sure this won’t arrive on the Meizu Pro 5 mini, since that handset has already been debunked not too long ago.
To date, the 3D Touch feature is seen on the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, which Apple claims is unbelievably hard to develop at the beginning, and it is also a feature that will take a fair number of years to catch on and mature according to Apple’s suppliers. Other handsets that have this feature include the Gionee S8, the Huawei Mate S and the ZTE Axon mini.
