It would be an understatement to say that Uncharted fans just can’t wait for the new title to arrive. They’ve had to put up with multiple delays along the way and just have to wait for a couple of months now before Uncharted 4 is finally released. The hype machine continues to run in the meantime. Today the first episode of the five-episode behind-the-scenes series has been released.
Naughty Dog gave the video team at PlayStation incredible access to its studio, game assets and the people working on Uncharted 4 so that they could create a compelling series to lower the curtains on this final chapter for Nathan Drake.
The first episode of Making of Uncharted 4 is called The Evolution of a Franchise. It provides a look at how Naughty Dog and the Uncharted series as a whole has evolved ever since Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune was released on the PlayStation 3 back in 2007.
More episodes from this five-episode series will be released throughout March and April. The upcoming episodes are titled Growing up with Drake, Pushing Technical Boundaries Part 1, Pushing Technical Boundaries Part 2 and In the End respectively.
Naughty Dog is still hard at work to put the finishing touches on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Fans can pre-order a copy right now. Uncharted 4 is scheduled for worldwide release on May 10th, 2016.
