Prior to this, LINE users were able to make voice and video calls, but these were limited to one on one. However with the update, users will now be able to take part in or host group voice calls with as many as 200 people at once. Now we’re not sure if anyone really needs to chat with 200 people at once, but at least the feature is there if you need it.
The feature is free and will not require any money, save for the data you will consume while using it. So if you do participate in group chats often and would prefer chatting via voice instead of text, then we guess this could be a good way of going about it. It would make organizing events easier, or if you use it for work, you could use for voice conferences and get team members up to speed, and etc.
The update is now live and available for both iOS and Android users, so hit up the iTunes App Store or Google Play of the download.
