Are you interested in getting your hands on the LG G5? If you are, you might have heard that earlier this month, LG confirmed that the LG G5 will be making its way to the US next month, but unfortunately no specific dates were mentioned, although it has also been confirmed that the handset will be available via the major carriers.
The good news is that we finally have a date, although it seems that this date applies to US Cellular for now. The carrier has recently announced that come 28th of March, they will begin taking pre-orders for the LG G5, with the handset’s availability set for the 1st of April. Now we can’t be sure if this date is only for US Cellular, or if other carriers will be following suit.
However we wouldn’t be surprised if the dates were to be around the same time, since we’re sure that they probably wouldn’t want the competition getting the leg up on them in terms of availability, right? As for pricing, US Cellular will be selling the phone at $636 without a contract, and $199 on a two-year contract. Alternatively there is an installment plan set at $26.50 over the next 24-months.
Now if US Cellular isn’t your carrier of choice, it has been previously reported that Best Buy will be taking pre-orders for the handset come 18th of March, so you might want to check that out if you’d prefer.
