We do know that LeEco has an event that is scheduled for the 20th of April next month, and chances are it will be a brand new device in addition to a smart eco-system that will be unveiled. As for the upcoming handset, it might jolly well be the LeEco Le 2, which has been spotted in a GFXBench benchmark.
The LeEco Le 2 happens to come across as a 5.5″ phablet complete with a 1080p display, at least based on what the benchmark has mentioned. Apart from that, it will be accompanied by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory to keep up with the Joneses, while running on the latest version of Android, which would be Android 6.0 Marshmallow, so that you need not twiddle your fingers and thumbs to wait for a carrier released update.
As for the chipset that will see action in the LeEco Le 2,it would sport a 10-core CPU design, which will comprise of a rather large Cortex-A72 (2x) cluster, a medium A53 cluster (4x) and a small A53 cluster (4x), with each sporting different clock speeds (the A72s would max out at 2GHz). There is a Mali-T880 GPU that can handle the graphical load to boot.
Other hardware specifications of the LeTV Le 2 will include a 16MP camera with 4K video capture ability, an 8MP frontf-facing shooter, 4G LTE and dual-SIM connectivity, in addition to a USB Type-C port.
