There are plenty of note-taking apps out there since people tend to use them quite often. They come in handy for quickly jotting down ideas or the weekly grocery list. Users often try out different note-taking apps and it can prove to be a pain to transfer notes between several apps. That has become much easier now for OneNote users who are looking to import notes from Evernote.
OneNote and Evernote are both widely used on multiple platforms like mobile and desktop, it wouldn’t be uncommon for someone to use both even those they provide essentially the same feature, and so if moving notes from Evernote is on the agenda it’s much easier to do that now.
Microsoft has released a new importer tool for OneNote that’s specifically meant for importing notes from Evernote. It’s has only been released for Windows initially but Microsoft will release it on Mac in the very near future.
With the importer tool, users will be able to send all of their Evernote content to OneNote easily. Microsoft recommends that the tool be used on PCs powered by Windows 7 or later and that to speed up the import users should have Evernote for Windows installed as well.
Microsoft’s importer tool for OneNote is now available to download from the official OneNote website.
