In the first official teaser of the Huawei P9, we see both cameras at the back – a trend that is also starting to appear in select devices, although not all smartphone manufacturers have decided to jump on the bandwagon. As for the rest of the hardware specifications, the most recent rumors point to a Kirin 950 chipset, a 5.2″ Full HD display, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal memory.
In front, you should be able to find a 5MP camera that gets a decent job done, while the back has a 12MP dual camera setup with support for OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). Expect the Huawei P9 to measure just 6.4mm thin, running on a 3,000mAh battery with Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI in tow. As for the pricing, it is said to arrive with a $500 sticker price.
