So much so that the company has teased on Twitter its upcoming handset and its camera. According to the tagline, it reads, “World First, World Class, Front and Back. You’ll see. #powerof10”. Like we said, HTC has attempted several times to blow us away with their camera technology but has largely fallen short.
Given HTC’s status in the smartphone market, we’re really hoping that this time it will be different, for the sake of the company. Earlier this month, a photo made its way online which showed an alleged camera sample from the handset and based on what we saw, we can’t say we’re too impressed. However to be fair it was a sample so maybe taking a good photo wasn’t the reason for the photo.
In any case no word on when HTC will officially announce the HTC 10, but we have heard that the phone could be seeing a release in April which means that an announcement should be taking place in the coming weeks, so check back with us later for the details.
