Microsoft and 343 Industries have confirmed that a new gaming mode for Halo 5 is going to be released this summer. The game currently offers Arena and Warzone modes to players, the upcoming mode is for cooperative play and it’s called Warzone Firefight. Players and their fellow gamers will be put against overwhelming waves of enemies, the experience will be quite similar to cooperative multiplayer modes found in previous Halo games.
In Warzone Firefight up to eight players will compete together to complete five rounds of increasingly difficult, dynamic objectives. They have to achieve the objects against a timer to be victorious.
Warzone Firefight is going to feature more enemies than ever before and it includes a brand new tier of Mythic” enemy bosses. If you thought that the Warden Eternal was tough you’re in for a surprise.
It also features the REQ System so players will have access to all of their weapons, vehicles, power-ups, armor mods and more in this game mode. Microsoft says that Warzone Firefight is surely going to be a fan favorite when it arrives this summer.
The company has released a trailer for Warzone Firefight gameplay which goes into detail and shows us just how the gaming experience in this new mode for Halo 5 is going to be.
