Google I/O is certainly the biggest event that the Mountain View company holds every year and it’s that time of the year again when registrations for the event are about to open. Thousands of people attend Google I/O every year and tickets sell out pretty fast. Google I/O 2016 registration page is now up and folks who want to attend can sign up for a chance to buy tickets starting next week.
Since I/O tickets always sell out almost instantly the company now draws names at random from the list of people who register for the event. They are then given the chance to purchase a ticket that costs $900.
It’s certainly not cheap but then again the event is not really meant for people so just want to attend a Google event for the heck of it. I/O is actually a developer-focused event and new software is always one of the major announcements at I/O every year and 2016 is going to be no different.
If you’re not able to buy a ticket or won’t be able to make it to California fear not, Google streams most of the main events online for free, so that’s an easy and free way to catch up on all of the developments as they happen.
Registrations for a chance to buy a ticket to Google I/O 2016 will be open between March 8th and March 10th.
