The tablet is also available via AT&T, but if Verizon is your carrier of choice then this will be good news. The device is pretty big as far as tablets are concerned, especially when you consider that there are many laptops out there that have smaller displays, or that there are some monitors out there for desktops that are either on par or slightly smaller.
According to Verizon, they are calling the Galaxy View the “perfect mobile multimedia device for young professionals or college students looking to bring an entertainment center to their apartment or dorm room.” In terms of pricing, the Galaxy View is priced at $600 upfront, but we suppose the beauty of purchasing it through a carrier is that you get to pay it back in installment plans.
If you’d rather not fork out $600 right away, Verizon is allowing customers to purchase the Galaxy View for $25 a month over the next 2 years. Alternatively you can sign one of those old-fashioned 2-year contracts with Verizon and purchase the tablet for $500, $100 off its full price. If you’d like to get your hands on it, head on over to Verizon’s website for the details.
