The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge were announced at Mobile World Congress last month and released a couple of weeks ago. Samsung’s new flagship appear to be doing well in the market so far and now there have been rumors of more variants in this lineup. We’ve already heard about the Galaxy S7 mini and now it appears that the Galaxy S7 Active has entered testing at AT&T.

AT&T has had an exclusive on previous Active variants of Galaxy S handsets so it wouldn’t be surprising if the Galaxy S7 Active is exclusive to the country’s second largest mobile carrier.

There’s no confirmation yet whether Samsung will come out with a Galaxy S7 mini or Galaxy S7 Active but a shipping report has been spotted which shows that AT&T is testing a handset with model number SM-G891A.

The assumption that this is the Galaxy S7 Active stems from the fact that the Galaxy S6 Active, an AT&T exclusive, has the model number SM-G890A so you can imagine how one can believe that this is the Active variant of the current flagship smartphone.

We’ll have to wait and see if more evidence surfaces online which confirms that AT&T is indeed testing this handset. For now, it appears that a Galaxy S7 Active is not completely out of the question.
