Prior to tonight’s event where the final release date will be announced for Final Fantasy 15, an ad for the Chinese version of this game has been published online and it provides us with a glimpse of the much-awaited game. It shows off a young Noctis, who is the main protagonist of Final Fantasy 15.
The ad for the Chinese version of this game promises a “fun and free Final Fantasy 15 for fans and first-timers alike.” The footage seems to be taken from a section of Final Fantasy 15 called “The Dream of Young Noctis.”
The description of that section within the game reads “uncover a tale untold in-game,” this hints at whatever this experience is it’s separate from the core experience on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Young Noctis can be seen exploring a number of environments in this video, aided by Carbuncle, who is a recurring character in the Final Fantasy series. Noctis will apparently explore the Final Fantasy 15 world either as a tiny version of himself or as a regular version of himself but in a giant world.
Square Enix will conduct an event later today where it’s going to provide more details about this title and also confirm the release date for Final Fantasy 15. The game is expected to arrive at some point later this year.
