Editing Photos Is Now Easier On Google Photos For Android

A new update has been released for Google Photos on Android. The app brings a very useful feature that was previously only available on the iOS version of this app. It makes editing photos much easier. The feature is referred to as non-destructive editing, it means that the app tracks and saves all individual edits made to a photo so users can go back at any point and adjust those individual edits or even remove them completely.

The updated app also brings another useful feature. Previously, Google Photos would save a completely new copy of a photo every time new edits were made to it and saved. This meant that users ended up with multiple copies of almost the very same photo and that took up space on their handsets.

Also, it wasn’t possible to adjust any edits in all of those different versions, regardless of the fact that the app saved a new copy every time an edit was made. This has now been fixed in the latest update of Google Photos for Android.

Google Photos for Android no longer saves multiple copies of the same photo once edits are applied and saved, and it also allows users to go back and change or remove individual edits. These new features will certainly be welcomed by users who frequently use Google Photos to edit their pictures.
