In fact the company has decided to remind everyone just how green they are by releasing a trio of exclusive wallpapers that shows off the company’s green-ness. These wallpapers were created by graphic artists Anthony Burrill and while they have been designed for the iPhone and iPad, we suppose that you should have no problems using it with non-iOS devices since it is basically an image.
For those who missed Apple’s presentation on Monday, the company revealed that whenever devices are sent back to them for recycling, they are disassembled by a robot that they have called Liam. The robot is apparently capable of taking an iPhone apart in 11 seconds and will be able to remove and separate parts to make them easier to recycle.
This is apparently more efficient compared to traditional recycling methods which involves a shredder with magnets. In any case if these wallpapers are of interest to you, then head on over to Apple’s website (preferably via your mobile device) to get your hands on the wallpapers.
