Several days ago, Anonymous announced and openly-declared that they were going to wage a “total war” on Donald Trump, and if you were wondering if this was more bark than bite, think again. The hacker group has recently released what they are claiming is Trump’s social security number, cellphone number, along with other private information about him.
According to Anonymous in their video message, “Donald Trump has set his ambitions on the White House in order to promote an agenda of fascism and xenophobia as well as the religious persecution of Muslims through totalitarian policies. Now is the time to unite to fight fascism to show that we are very serious to stop any proposed Fourth Reich by the fascist Donald Trump.”
They then shared a link in which Trump’s alleged private information is being stored. Anonymous adds, “Do with them what you will, bearing in mind that you alone are responsible for your actions.” While we can’t say with certainty that the information is real, it seems that it has been verified through Nexis public records that the last five digits of Trump’s social security number matches that of the ones shared on Pastebin.
This isn’t the first time that Anonymous has declared war on Trump, but this time it looks like their plans are grander and they have even attempted to rope in support from the public.
