I am quite sure that many of us are looking forward to Batman taking on the Son of Krypton, Superman, in the upcoming Batman v Superman movie, but until then, what else can you keep yourself occupied with? Amazon has just the thing for you, having worked out a partnership with Warner Bros. and DC Comics, delivering a rather unique promotion for the movie where anyone with an Amazon Echo smart loudspeaker or an Amazon Fire TV with Alexa integration will be able to indulge in “The Wayne Investigation”.
“The Wayne Investigation” happens to be a choose-your-own-adventure game, where users will be transported into Gotham not too long after Bruce Wayne’s parents were murdered. Amazon’s personal assistant, Alexa, will function as your ears and eyes throughout this investigation, where you will be guided through numerous rooms, while having to make choices as you attempt to uncover one clue after another. In other words, an interactive radio adventure of sorts that will have supporting music, sound effects and different characters to add to the realism.
So far, it looks like users have up to 37 decisions to make in the entire game, which could last from 5 minutes to 40 minutes, and it is played entirely through audio. Launching the game is easy – enable it within the “skills” section of the Alexa app, and then say: “Alexa, open the Wayne Investigation.”
