With Mobile World Congress all set to happen next week, you can be sure that many people are stoked with what is in store for the masses, especially when it comes to new product announcements by the big boys. ZTE does not want to miss out on the action, either, which is why they have started to send out invites to interested parties, notifying them of their presence at MWC 2016. Basically, ZTE will be hosting its Mobile World Congress 2016 press conference next Sunday, the 21st of February, which is one day before the event kicks off officially.
From the invitation itself, it is rather difficult to figure out what ZTE has in store for attendees, apart from mentioning “Imagination and Beyond” with the relevant details behind. ZTE’s official website, however, does seem to carry more clues, as their theme for this year’s MWC is “the Enabler of mobile Internet (M-ICT).”
Where mobile products are concerned, ZTE has plans to “showcase and announce a range of smart devices,” apart from bringing with it its current range of offerings such as the AXON global flagship smartphone family. LG and Sony were far less tardy, having sent out MWC 2016 invites in January itself, with LG’s MWC invite dropping hints of OLED displays being used in their products.
