There is a reason behind the name of this particular device, as it carries a rather self-trumpeting slogan that reads, “the first deca-core smartphone in the world”. I suppose it is not so much the issue of how many cores a particular handset has, but more to the point of making full use of every single core along the way.
Unveiled by ZOPO’s brand ambassador, MotoGP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo, the Speed 8 will run on Mediatek’s Helio X20 SoC, which is the first deca-core mobile chip in production, where other hardware specifications will include the likes of a 5.5” Full HD display, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, a 3,600 mAh battery, a 21MP camera at the back with a Sony IMX230 sensor, a dual-tone LED flash, and an 8MP front-facing camera, a round fingerprint scanner, and a USB Type-C port. This dual SIM handset will feature 4G LTE connectivity and Android 6.0 Marshmallow to boot.
