The good news is for those who love chatting on WhatsApp via their browsers, you will be pleased to learn that the web app is now supported by the Edge browser, as you can see in the screenshot above. In fact Edge support was actually mentioned last year in August in which Microsoft revealed that they were in talks to make that happen, but we guess it took about half a year before it did.
But hey, better late than never, right? There were some tricks that users could use to get around the problem back then, but now all you’d have to do is surf on over to WhatsApp’s website and set it up and you’ll be good to go. For those unfamiliar, WhatsApp Web is basically the web version of WhatsApp.
Users can chat on WhatsApp via their computers, with messages and contacts syncing on both your phone and the web interface without any delay. This is a more comfortable way of chatting since you won’t have to keep reaching for your phone if you are at school or work.
