So far everything we’ve heard and seen has pointed to the Warcraft movie being released on the 10th of June. However it seems that if you’re living in the UK, you’re in luck because you guys will be getting the movie before the US. This was confirmed in a post on Facebook in which it confirmed its earlier release.
According to the post it reads, “Warcraft: The Beginning will be released in the UK on May 30 ahead of its release in the US.” However note that the UK isn’t the only country seeing an early release. As noted by Wowhead, there are a bunch of other countries that are expected to get the movie on the 26th of May, but so far as far as far we can tell, the UK will be getting it first.
We suppose this means that early reviews will be out which will hopefully clue us in as to whether or not the movie does justice to the Warcraft franchise, or if it will end up going the route of most video game-cum-movie and leave a stain on Blizzard’s reputation and the Warcraft franchise.
That being said, there are some big name actors attached to the film, not to mention a very capable director, so here’s hoping that Warcraft will be one of those movies that breaks the mold.
