The Vivo XPlay 5 smartphone has been making its rounds lately, but this particular one is interesting as it offers a purported first look at the device, having been spotted on an AnTuTu benchmark earlier on which points to the possibility of having 6GB of RAM underneath the hood. Well, we more or less have heard that the Vivo XPlay 5 will arrive with a Snapdragon 820 chipset in addition to the half dozen GB of RAM as mentioned earlier, making it a first in the world.
So far, we do know that the Vivo XPlay 5 is all set for an official release this coming 1st of March, and the live shot that you see above would help quicken your pulse, too – assuming you are looking forward to picking up this particular device, of course. The front of the handset points to a curved display (best described as 2.5D in today’s terms) on both sides in addition to the standard row of capacitive buttons found on Vivo devices.
The other suggested hardware specifications point to a 5.5” display that has a resolution count of 2560 x 1440 pixels, and a rumored 16MP shooter at the back with a front-facing 8MP camera for selfie lovers. Pricing and availability details remain to be known, but hopefully everything else will be revealed by the time the 1st of March arrives.
