If you happen to be rocking to what some deemed to be the thinnest Android-powered tablet to date from Samsung (when it was first released, of course), then you would be pleased to hear that Verizon has made available its February Android security patch for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2.
The update was already available since yesterday, where installing the update would bring the device’s version to LMY47X.T817VVRS2APB2. There does not seem to be an accompanying change log to detail all of the changes that comes with the update, so it is pretty difficult to figure out just what kind of changes have been included in this particular update, although Verizon’s release notes does mention that “the current software update gives you the most up to date Android security patch on your device.” Hmmm, there is not much to work on with such a statement, don’t you think so?
Since the update is still fresh out of the oven, this means that not all Verizon Galaxy Tab S2 units will be picking it up simultaneously, so it would be best to play the patience card while you are at it. After all, hasn’t it been said before that good things come to those who wait? [Update Page]
