I don’t know about you but I’m looking forward to February 21st because that’s when both LG and Samsung are going to unveil their latest flagship smartphones. It appears that HTC has decided to skip an MWC reveal in favor of its own event where it wants the spotlight to be squarely on the HTC One M10. There have been some rumors and leaks about this device and now an image of what’s claimed to be HTC’s next flagship smartphone has been leaked online. From the looks of it, the handset seems to take design inspiration from HTC One A9.
This purported image of the HTC One M10 doesn’t really reveal all that much about the design itself but it does appear to have the same button layout and style as HTC One A9. Several things stand out and that includes the large front camera module, a home button with a fingerprint sensor and antenna bands which are visible around the edge of the device.
Do note that there’s no HTC logo anywhere at the front so perhaps this image may be of a prototype and not the final version. Previous reports suggest that HTC One M10 is going to feature a 5.1 inch Quad HD AMOLED display and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB RAM.
It will have flagship level specs but it remains to be seen whether it will be able to compete against the likes of the Galaxy S7 and the LG G5. No word as yet from HTC on when it’s going to conduct an event to unveil its flagship smartphone for 2016 but rumor has it that the event might take place next month.
