Telltale, the studio best known for making episodic games, has been hard at work on the latest installment of The Walking Dead. Today it confirmed that The Walking Dead: Michonne, a new miniseries that it has been working on, is going to premiere on February 23rd. It’s going to release an extended preview of this miniseries this Sunday.
The Walking Dead: Michonne is going to premiere its first of three episodes, “In Too Deep” come February 23rd on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and come February 25th for both iOS and Android.
The second episode, “Give No Shelter” will be released next month and the miniseries is going to conclude with the third episode titled “What We Deserve” which will arrive in April 2016.
All three episodes will be available for purchase at a price tag of $14.99, this is what you’ll have to pay when the first episode arrives and it will provide access to the second and third episodes when they become available.
“In Too Deep,” the premiere episode, sees Michonne join Pete and his crew as they sail on The Companion to cruise the coast for supplies and survivors. A signal for help draws them to a scene of a horrific massacre, and they are further lead to the floating survivor’s colony of Monroe, where the person responsible for the massacre might be hiding.
Over the couse of the entire miniseries players will discover what took Michonne away from Rick, Ezekiel and the rest of her group and what exactly brought her back to them. Prior to the release, Telltale will release an extended preview of the new miniseries this Sunday at 8:30 pm EST on its YouTube channel.
