With Samsung fresh from the euphoria of delivering the flagship Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge devices, are there any other handsets that the South Korean giant has in store for the masses? Apparently so, as to rest on one’s laurels would be considered as suicide in this extremely competitive industry. Having said that, it looks like the rumored Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro has been spotted on an AnTuTu benchmark, giving us a better idea on the kind of hardware that it carries underneath the hood.
If one were to take into consideration its naming convention, it is easy to arrive at the conclusion that the Galaxy A9 Pro is a souped up version of the standard Galaxy A9. The Galaxy A9 arrived with a 6” Full HD display, 3GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel shooter at the back, and an octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor.
With the latest AnTuTu benchmarks released, the alleged Galaxy A9 Pro does seem to sport similar features, although there should be an additional GB of RAM thrown into the mix, in addition to an improved rear camera that would be able to capture images in 16-megapixel glory, while the front comes with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter as opposed to the existing 5-megapixel front-facing camera found on the Galaxy A9. All in all, we are just waiting for an official release to happen.
