One of the most highly anticipated games for Xbox is now one step closer to being released. Remedy’s Sam Lake has confirmed that Quantum Break has gone gold. If you’re not familiar with the term, going gold means that core development has finished and that the game is ready to be shipped. If there are some tweaks to be made or bugs to be fixed developers always have the option of a day-one patch. However, for the most part, work on Quantum Break has finished.
Quantum Break was originally an Xbox One exclusive but it was confirmed a couple of weeks ago that this title will also be coming to Windows 10.
There’s an incentive for those who pre-order a digital copy of the game. They’ll get a free digital copy of Quantum Break for Windows 10 as well. This offer is available until April 4th.
Those who wish to purchase this title on PC should keep in mind that Quantum Break will not be listed on Steam. It’s going to be sold exclusively through the Windows 10 Store.
Customers who pre-order the title are also going to get copies of Alan Wake, a horror game that Remedy released a few years ago for Xbox 360.
Quantum Break is going to be released on Xbox One and PC on April 5th, 2016.
