It goes without saying that different kinds of apps do deserve to have updates introduced from time to time, otherwise it would just stagnate and end up as legacy software as it is being left behind. Having said that, Pandora for Android has seen various features introduced from time to time over the years, including Chromecast and tablet support as well as personalized recommendations. This time around, it looks like Pandora for Android will now receive the music discovery feature, allowing Android users to utilize the browse feature that debuted on iOS in January 2016.
One of Pandora’s strengths is this – you use it when you are not too sure of what you would like to listen to, but the Android version of Pandora was not all that fantastic to begin with. Thanks to an update to the software, Pandora has streamlined it, delivering a slider button to help you go between the My Stations and Browse lists. Apart from that, the browse feature which is already on the iOS version is there, helping you make selections by offering recommendations that are based on your preferences.
Not only that, the likes of Feed, Profile and Settings options which were on the main screen are now transferred over to a secondary menu that is located on the left side.
